En-Mercs comic

Welcome to the updated website for my En-Mercs graphic novel project. It’s now set up so you can easily keep track of every update, leave comments, an improved gallery to easily see all of the images on the project and much much more.

All the entries in the gallery have their images uploaded. All of the mechs have their descriptions done, and I’ll be updating the characters and the others shortly…

So book mark the site, follow the RSS feed, Twitter or Facebook page and keep track of how this exciting project develops and comment away!

Saijen Oh has done it again. Not once, twice or thrice but an amazing fourth revision on the Michael Wyman commission! He covers his reasons for the 4th revision, which all make sense. Whatever the case, I’m very happy with this incarnation (and the rest), as it really captures the character’s personality and gives him real presence.

On another note, the first 12 pages of the comic should be on sale soon with one of the digital distributors I’m working with. More news on that soon…

One of the problems of running a website is the spam you tend to attract. Most of the time it’s poorly constructed drivel, but the odd contextually funny one slips through the net and I just have to share them.

I’m overjoyed that my previous entry managed to help someone out on their college assignment. Tears of pride trickle down my face as I continue producing my comic with renewed vigor after knowing it now has great academic benfits that can help so many…

Once again Saejin has outdone himself, this time, with this brilliant revision of Lance Boriken. We’re lucky enough to see the revisions (new image) being done in a time lapse video. It’s fascinating to see how this piece comes together, from a quick sketch to the finished product.

SaejinOh does it again! This revision of Jane Luce takes her in a new but good direction. With his work continually evolving it’s really interesting to see how my characters get caught up and transformed in this process, as it’s always getting better and better!

Jane isn’t one of the main protagonists, but is still important to the plot. Being the director of the island research facility where most of the story takes place, she is responsible for the creation of all of the mechs and weapons there. Will she be able to use this knowledge to help the rest of the En-Mercs defeat them and save her daughter Ellie Luce?
You’ll just have to read more of the comic when it comes out…
